Why Join
Loose lugs, overheating breakers, and corroded connections rarely announce themselves before they fail. An annual inspection finds them while the fix is still a $150 repair, not a $2,500 emergency.
Members book ahead of the general queue. When Nashville's summer storms knock out half of East Nashville, VoltaCare members are the first calls we return.
Waived dispatch fees and member discounts on every repair mean the plan typically pays for itself with a single service call per year.
A documented inspection history is a real asset at sale time - buyers and inspectors see a maintained electrical system, not a question mark.
We test every smoke and CO detector and check your surge protection on every visit - the two cheapest insurance policies a house can have.
Every plan is month-to-month. Cancel anytime with a phone call - no cancellation fees, no lock-in, no hard feelings.
Financing Available
A 200-amp panel upgrade is the project homeowners put off the longest - and the one that unlocks EV charging, kitchen remodels, and backup power. Through our financing partner, Cumberland Home Credit, qualified buyers can spread the cost over 12 months at 0% interest, or choose longer monthly-payment terms. Ask for a financing quote with your written estimate; approval takes about five minutes by phone or text.
Financing provided by Cumberland Home Credit, subject to credit approval. 0% APR promotional term is 12 months; standard rates apply thereafter on longer terms. Volta Electric Co. is not a lender. Terms and availability may change without notice.
Plan Questions
Yes. All three plans are month-to-month with no contract. Call or email us and we'll cancel effective the end of your current billing cycle - no cancellation fee. If you cancel before your annual inspection has been performed, we simply stop billing; there's nothing to pay back.
Member repair discounts apply to our standard published rates and don't stack with limited-time promotions - we'll always apply whichever discount is larger, so you never do worse by being a member.
No - it's a comprehensive safety and condition assessment by a licensed electrician, not a municipal code inspection. We'll flag anything that wouldn't pass current code and explain your options, but only your local codes department can issue an official compliance sign-off. If permitted work is needed, we handle that process for you.
Yes, two ways: you can transfer the plan to your new home if it's within our service area, or transfer the remaining membership to your home's buyer - a nice closing-table perk. Just give us a call before your move date.
On Home Guardian and above, we re-torque every lug to manufacturer spec, run a thermal scan for hot spots, exercise and test breakers, verify grounding and bonding, and check for double-tapped circuits. You get a written report with photos after every visit.
A licensed electrician picks up 24/7 - nights, weekends and holidays. If it can wait until morning, book a free written estimate instead and we’ll come out same-day where we can.
Free estimates. Written price before we touch a wire. No obligation to book.
